Microbe-Lift/HC offers continued biological activity even in water temperatures under 55°F (12°C).
Microbe-Lift® works because it is an adult bacteria, not an enzyme. Microbe-Lift® has a 5 year shelf life. Microbe-Lift® will actually convert the waste into CO² and water. The organic loadings are lowered, not pushed from one spot to another, which is what enzymes do.

Product Description:
Contains photosynthetic bacteria which limits algae growth through "competitive exclusion" and natural selective inhibition while also improving oxygen levels.
Creates a healthy environment for your pond or raceway, promoting faster fish growth.
Reduces ammonia and nitrogen levels.
Significantly reduces noxious odors caused by algae, fish waste and urine.
Reduces biological oxygen demand (B.O.D.) and related organics which can cause off flavors in fish.
Reduces buildup of bird droppings, fish feed and dead leaves.
Inhibits development of eggs and larvae of water-breeding insects, flies, mosquitoes, etc. Breaks down dead algae.
Dissolves away organic sludge and slime.
Seeds and maintains biological filters.

Calculating Pond Volume:
To calculate the number of gallons in your pond: Multiply length x width x depth x 7.48
A one-acre pond, 3 feet deep, holds 1 million gallons.
For every additional 3 feet of depth, add 1 million gallons.
Example: 1/2 acre, 6 feet deep = 1 million gallons
