I used just rocks that were already on the property and some slate that was left over from my patio. I use the purifalls skimmer and waterfall, and it keeps the water crystal clear. My kids in the pictures are Paige and Blake; we are in Montecito California. They have a great time feeding and catching the little fish. Thanks for all your help. Dan
