It was hard work but very easy to install. It took one afternoon to put the pond together, waterfall, skimmer, liner, etc.... Once the hole was dug. I spent an entire day putting the rocks in and making sure they were placed just right. I continually landscape around it because you can never have too many plants. I can appreciate my pond much more because I did all of the work with a little muscle from my husband. The skimmer and biofalls are lifesavers. I even have a frog that called for a girlfriend all night and all day until he found one, he found more than one and now I have many, many tadpoles swimming around. I have about 20 fish, a mix of Koi, Fantail Goldfish, regular Goldfish and a Calico Shubunkin. Plants include beautiful red and yellow hardy water lilies, 4 leaf clover plant, water lettuce, water hyacinth, parrots feather, and forget-me-nots to mention a few. My pond is the most relaxing thing in my yard, (pretty close race to the hot tub). I can't go outside or up in my bedroom without looking out the window to just stare at and listen to the water fall. The lights at night really show off the falls and also light up the perimeter of the pond.
