Shipping Policies

Unless otherwise requested, we ship most orders UPS or Fed-Ex Ground
E~Mail us after placing order to request express shipping where available.

At Pondarama.com we will make every reasonable effort to insure that you receive your product on a timely basis,
however we carry many items that require special shipping and handling. Most pond hardware and accessory
 items can be shipped standard UPS carrier; livestock fish, and aquatic plants often require special permits and in
 some cases, depending on your states regulations, can not be shipped at all. This page contains all the
 information you should need to better understand the nature of our shipping policies, and many of the regulations that may influence the cost of your shipping. Please make note of the following:

  • Standard Sizes -Shipped Standard Carrier-Within The Contiguous US
  • Speed shipping is available at an additional cost
  • Please see shipping policies for the appropriate product category below for more information.
  • Shipping may be billed on a separate order depending on the items you select and shipping preference
  • E~Mail us after your order to request availability and cost of speed shipping available.
  • Please note that UPS does not offer all options from our location to yours.
  • For most special shipping requests, we will notify you with the shippers quote within 24 - 72 hours.

Full payment including S/H fee is expected before shipment unless otherwise specified

  • In the event that we discover the cost of your shipping needs to be adjusted (either up or down) after
    checkout, we will make every effort to contact you prior to shipment with the corrected amount.
  • If undercharged, we will attempt to reach you for approval but will not delay your shipment.
  • If overcharged or undercharged by the shipping calculator, you will be reimbursed as described below.
  • Balances: Will be charged as per payment method used or by PayPal Pay button.
  • Credits: Will be issued as per payment method described above or PayPal refund.

Special ship items may miscalculate at checkout, corrections will be made as follows:

This convenient feature allows you to place your order without making payment
until availability and shipping options and/or costs are determined and approved.

  4. Choose "SAVE AS QUOTE" as your payment option.
  5. We will contact you with shipping details and cost and ask for your approval.
  6. Once approved, we will revise your quote and send instructions to purchase the revised quote.

      Critters: Minimum Livestock Orders: Fish $200.00; Critters $ 50.00 - NO EXCEPTIONS!

     We carry: Tadpoles, Snails, Standard Quality Koi, Select Quality Koi , and Butterfly Koi.
    All varieties and sizes are not available at all times, please E-mail for availability and shipping options.

    How to order Fish and Critters: For availability and shipping cost quote:

    1. Create a Shopper ID You must create a Customer Login to use this feature
    2. Place items in your basket
    3. Go to Checkout
    4. Choose "SAVE AS QUOTE" as your payment option.
    5. We will contact you with shipping details and cost and ask for your approval.
    6. Once approved, we will revise your quote and send instructions to purchase the revised quote.
    7. We ship UPS, Fed EX or Air freight.
    8. Fish and Critters require specialized handling and will include a $10.00 box charge per box.
      Number of boxes and appropriate shipping methods will be determined to ensure safe delivery.
    9. S/H will be billed separately if order is placed and paid for prior to confirmation of S/H costs.

    Fish Shipping: Orders can be shipped by UPS or Air Freight and Federal Express. Your account or ours.

    Fish/Critters require special handling and shipping therefore we will notify you of Shipping and Handling
     charge and update your delivery information within 24-72 business hours.

      U P S or FED-EX:
      We can mail order your shipment using UPS next day or 2 day service depending on the amount of fish, the weather, your location, and shipper/buyer preferences. For shipping to your door, you pay only what the shipper actually charges.

      Common Carrier Air Freight:
      Fpr       pick up from local participating airport - Cost for any number of boxes ranges $50.00 - $75.00.
      Check with your local airport re: air freight availability. If by Air Freight shipping is COD*

Plants -Minimum Plant Orders: West Coast $100.00; East Coast $ 50.00 - NO EXCEPTIONS!
Lotus: Shipped March-May. Quantities limited order or pre-order early
Mix/Match: Lilies; Shallow Water; Floaters, Deep Water; Planted Islands and Plant Kits or Lotus

We will contact you with shipping details and cost and ask for your approval. Once approved, we will revise your quote and send instructions to purchase the revised quote. Ship cost/Certificate (if applicable) will be billed separately if you purchase prior to verification of costs.

We ship UPS, or Fed EX . Plant orders require specialized handling and will include a $7.50 per box charge.
The number of boxes and appropriate shipping methods will be determined to ensure safe delivery. We will try to notify you with the charges within 24 hours.

Plant substitutions of similar color, type and quality may be made according to availability. We will determine the method needed to ensure safe delivery. Plants are shipped healthy, fresh, grow-able condition.

NOTE: For replacement on damaged plants, condition must be reported immediately upon arrival.
 

Liners -How to order Liners: For all liner orders ask for a shipping quote prior to ordering.

We will contact you with shipping details and cost and ask for your approval. Once approved, we will revise your quote and send instructions to purchase the revised quote.

Shipping Details:

  • We ship UPS for EDPM liners up to 449 sq. ft.
  • Liners over 449 sq ft. must ship by truck to commercial addresses or to your local terminal.
  • Residential truck deliveries will incur an additional $ 50.00 - $75.00 residential fee by the truck company.
  • If at all possible - arrange for delivery to a commercial address or for pick-up at truck terminal.
  • Shipping billed separately on any order purchased without prior confirmation of ship cost.

SIZE INFORMATION:

Custom size liners can be cut in increments of 5' lengths in widths of: 5-1/2', 10', 15', 20', 25', 30', 40', and 50'.
Rolls are available in 50' & 100 ' lengths. Should your pond require a dimension not listed, please E-mail us

Shipping Special on EDPM Liner for the 2005 Season:

  • FREE SHIPPING on rolls 2500 sq. ft or more
  • HALF THE FREIGHT charges on 1000-2499 sq. ft. rolls.
  • HALF THE FREIGHT charges on 1500 sq. ft. or more cut sizes.

Oversized - Some Items Must be shipped by Truck- Residential Delivers incurr Truck Surcharge

How to order Oversized Items: For all oversized items ask for a shipping quote prior to ordering.
