The flow chart below will list weir widths from 6” wide to 8’ wide and show flows ranging from light to medium heavy. Of coarse you can Using the graph you can determine the appropriate pump to use for your waterfall.

Example: If you have a waterfall that is 1 Ft. wide and you want the water to be 1\2" thick with a 5 ft. vertical (height) the chart calls for a pump that can produce 780 Gallons Per Hour. Look for the model that can give you 780 GPH @t 5 FT. not a 780 GPH pump
